| The Diamond NR770HA is an 2 meter and 440 MHz (70 cm) mobile antenna. It is a 1/2 wave on 2 meters providing 3.0 dB gain and a 2 5/8 wave on 440 providing 5.5 dB gain. This antenna can handle up to 200 watts. The VSWR is less than 1.5:1.
This antenna is 40.2 inches (1.02 m) high. The lower coil and antenna are silver. The connector type is UHF (for PO mount). This antenna does not include the mount or coax. This antenna design employs DC ground structure so that the whip element and ground section (outer shell of impedance matching section) are short circuited, and the center conductor of the feed point connector and whip element are isolated. The Diamond NR770HNMO (not shown) is the same antenna, but accepts an NMO mount. Neither version includes the mount or coax.
